Every bit of help matters. Together, we can create meaningful change and support our community in powerful ways.
Founded in May 2003 and officially registered as a charity in January 2003, Bolton Solidarity Community Association (BSCA) has been dedicated to creating a strong and inclusive community in Bolton. Our work focuses on three key outcomes:
We work collaboratively with the voluntary, public and private sector and we actively promote representation, inclusivity, and diversity within our trustees, staff, and volunteers.
Our work has earned us recognition, including the Queen’s Award for involving refugee and global majority communities in volunteering. We’ve become a model of good practice in Bolton, playing a major role in establishing and nurturing new and emerging communities.
Our mission is to provide high-quality services that are accessible and inclusive for everyone we serve. We aim to empower individuals to participate fully in society, helping them grow and contribute as proud citizens. By offering tailored support and resources, we ensure that our service users are given the tools they need to thrive in all aspects of life.
Our main vision is to welcome and enable new and emerging communities in Bolton to become valued members of the community and live happy and healthy lives.
At BSCA, our values guide everything we do. They ensure we act with integrity, foster collaboration, empower individuals, and create an inclusive environment where everyone is respected. These principles drive our mission to build a stronger, more inclusive Bolton.
We are committed to transparency and accountability in all our actions.
We believe in working together with our partners and community members to achieve shared goals.
We seek to uplift individuals by providing the tools and resources they need to thrive.
We value every person and foster an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity.
