Who we are
A community organisation rooted in Bolton
BSCA works particularly, but not exclusively, with people from new and emerging communities in Bolton.
Established in 2002, our staff and volunteers have a passion to support and work with clients who need our help to overcome the various challenges and difficulties they face every day.

How we can help

Monday to Thursday · no appointment needed
Client drop-in advice sessions
Immediate support and guidance for people seeking assistance, available Monday to Thursday. A safe, confidential space where people can access help — no appointment needed.
- Employment supportWe provide employment support for individuals — improving employability skills, creating CVs, and supporting with applications and interviews.
- Health inequalitiesWe work with partners in Bolton and Greater Manchester to tackle health inequalities faced by new and emerging communities in Bolton.
- Youth provisionWe work with children and young people on a range of projects — including but not exclusive to sports — improving aspirations and supporting young people into positive pathways.
- CohesionWe work with partners to support cohesion in Bolton between its diverse communities.
- Outreach workFor reasons such as old age and disability, some clients are unable to visit us at our centre. To keep our services available to everyone, we arrange outreach on a case-by-case basis.
